A couple of questions and perhaps a suggestion

I'm new here, so please forgive me if what I'm asking or suggesting has already been mentioned or sounds dumb. But in e-sword 9x is there a way to bookmark in the commentary, dictionary, and editor windows when viewing a certain file? I couldn't find a way to do this, but am still learning. Also, is there a way to hide or delete some of the toolbars when viewing certain windows? For example the editor window when viewing a topic note.
Thank you,
Wayne

When you say "toolbars", do you mean the bar in the Editor's window that has the font designation and other icons? You cannot hide that toolbar. But you can expand the size of the Editors window by hovering over the divider line and dragging the window larger. You can also rearrange the windows.

and the only dumb question is the one never asked
second you can view each window full screen by clicking on the B for Bibles C commentaries D dictionary E editors and then back by clicking the button beside B
as for bookmarking so to speak there is a verse list that save verse under a topic u chose and combined with the chain icon that links the bible and commentary together it may be a help u still have to choose the commentary though
also there is a couple companion programs to eSword that will change the multiple rows of tabs to single rows Resourcer is one
I don't know if any of this will be exactly what your looking for but it gives you options to look into
added
actually there is a selection box for single row tabs in eSword go to options then resource check the box display tabs in a single row

May God change our hearts to what the truth is
2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Is there a place that gives help with copyright regulations? I'd like to maybe do some commentaries for my own personal use. Would I still need to worry about copyright issues, even though I wouldn't be sharing? I own the commentaries in book form and just want to be able to have them in e-sword. The date on these books is 1970.

There's no law in the US, that I'm aware of, outlawing the possession of copyrighted material. Instead, the infringement comes from the distribution of copyrighted material. If you don't distribute the material, then you cannot be guilty of infringement, as I understand copyright law.
Further, I have no problem using material in any format, provided I've paid for it in another format.
