I just noticed that there is a similar thread to this one I started.
I'm using Firefox 7.0.1, but I tried the latest version of Opera (11.52), and IE7 to no avail. Had the same error message.
Also tried with and without Freedownload Manager.
OS is XP SP3.

Hi,

The download limit isn't browser based. It's based on your IP address. When the server sees you have 5 downloads going, it will not let you start a new download until one of the existing 5 finishes. This ensures an enjoyable and responsive website for all of our other members.

There is an occasional problem where a download is aborted, but the server still thinks the download is in-progress. The aborted download will eventually time-out and the server will realize the download is aborted. This occasionally happens with unreliable internet connections (the internet connection is terminated and resumes, possibly in less than a second, causing the download to do the same). This also happens with certain download managers, especially if the user (or the manager) tries to start, stop, pause, or do any sort of "optimization". Sometimes download managers skip around in a list of files. This causes the server to believe there are more than 5 downloads in progress.

Another problem with some download "boosters", "optimizers", etc is they just download everything in sight in the background. Then, when you click on a link, the download seems faster but that's because the booster has been downloading everything in sight so the data is already on your computer. Again, our site prevents this. I don't receive many of these reports, but when I do, a download manager or "booster" is involved.

Hi Josh

I am now bypassing the download manager, and it seems to be working now, thanks.

I cannot download any of the Wuest New Testaments. The link brings me back to the home page instead.

Perhaps the links could be updated.

May God bless you,

Vladimir

It was removed because of copyright concerns...
