So, please clarify this point.

copy all entries in Virtual Store into the C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword folder

You need to move them to the e-Sword folder. Really there shouldn't be any e-Sword files in the Virtual Store.

Have you many e-Sword files in the Virtual Store folder?

JPG: You need to move them to the e-Sword folder. Really there shouldn't be any e-Sword files in the Virtual Store.

Reply: Anything I download from inside e-Sword is loaded into the <username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (086)\e-Sword folder.  I have reverted to use Resource location: C:\program files (x86)\e-Sword folder Now, although the entries are not in the Resource location, and are in the virtual store, they are all shown as listed inside e-Sword from the e-Sword tab "Options" > "Resource settings" > and relevant section window.  I can click on an entry in the VirtualStore folder, and the Module Installer copies the file to the C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword folder. If I try to copy and paste files to the destination folder, I have to allow Administrative access to paste to that folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword folder.
I'll move all from the virtual store into the resource location, and will remove any old or manually renamed entries. The Module Installer does not move "lexx" dictionary files created by e-Sword. The doré.mapx refuses to move into the Program Files (x86)\e-Sword folder; is this because in the name there is a letter character which is not in the English keyboard alphabet? I then deleted the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword folder.
RESULT. WPNT John 1:51 is still viewable in Compare option, Viewable in Parallel option, but verse John 1:51 is not viewable from Bible WPNT view. It just gives the verse number, in gold, but no text for the verse.

Joh 1:50 Jesus answered and said to him, “You believe because I said that I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater than these.â€38
Joh 1:51

Thanks Katoog. Both the Commentary and the Bible appear nicely from the wpnt.zip file, when I look at John chapter 1. However, the Information page still shows programming commands <br><br> <a > </a> options. Perhaps that could be corrected.
My e-Sword is set to Default font Verdana; Latin = Doulos SIL; do I need to change this? e-Sword User Guide page 33

If this is from the 2016 edition of The Sovereign Creator Has Spoken, Objective Authority for Living, The New Testament with Commentary, Second Edition, by Dr. Wilbur Pickering, ThM, PhD. Copyright © 2016 Wilbur N. Pickering then I suggest you could update http://www.biblesupp...ent-with-notes/ and the files there. The initial files on http://www.biblesupp...ent-with-notes/ were loaded in 2012. Then there was a reload in July 2015.

Your present wpnt.zip file contain two files, which are numbered as 001_wpnt.bbli 2016-08-21 and 001_wpnt.cmti 2018-12-08. They work well with e-Sword as updated.

Both modules are from the same text source as in Bible Support.
So I did not update and don't ask me to update this Bible
because I'm the translator of the Restored Holy Bible.
The reason why I help you now is only to solve the problem in John only.
I hate it that modules are corrupted in the Bible text and you asked for help.

My edits are made so that I have a more compatibility for the newer e-Sword editions (search mode and compare mode).
What I did is remove RTF code at the end of the every verse and the useless Font code in every verse.
I did deal with the quote marks and color code for the footnote numbers.
And Used UTF-8 as encoding.
My module is smaller and better than the Original module.
You don't need the old wpnt modules with the problem because you use e-Sword 12.

You can select what you PREFER as Font with the e-Sword program.
click on Options and Fonts.
I use Tahoma as Default Font, Verdana as Editor Font,
for Greek Galatia SIL,for Hebrew Ezra SIL, and for Latin Doulos SIL.

If you like Verdana then stay using it: I have not the right to command you what font you should use but I can only recommend.

I did not look much to the Preface of both modules.
The only thing that I changed is the title "(MAY) (NT) (Layout)"
Majority Text, New Testament only and this module has a Layout.
Again this module was only corrected for myself. (Not for you: this is the reason for the 2016 and 2018 dates).

The reason for 001_ in the file name is to place it first and to avoid conflict with your wpnt modules or another module that is maybe the reason for your problem.
