When the “Compare” tab is active, the program displays abbreviations of the titles of Bible translations on the screen.

What needs to be changed in the settings in order that full titles may be displayed (the tiles which are displayed when the mouse cursor hovers above the tabs of Bible versions)?

Nothing in the e-Swords settings will change this, what has to be changed is the title and tab information in the individual bible modules, this can be accomplished using a tool called e-Sword Tab Renamer. This tool can be used to changed the tab, and title information for all modules except those that are premium or purchased modules as those modules are locked.

You can download the tab renamer from this link:

On this particular point, with regard to premium (including e-Sword's free official) Bibles, in the Details table of a bblx database file, the records can be edited in Tab Renamer, as well in SQLite DB Browser. The only part of the official Bible from e-Sword that cannot be edited are the verses in the Scripture Field. See Screenshots below.

In this screenshot you will notice that all the records in the Scripture field are blobbed out

But in this screenshot you will notice that there are no records of any of the fields are blobbed out, and that all of them can be seen and edited in the Tab Renamer.

Trust you will find this information helpful.

Thank you. With such programs, I should be able to make any needed changes.
