I am running e-sword 12.1 (upgraded from version 11 (which I think was a deletion of 11 and a new install of 12.1) on Windows 10.

In the resources I have 2 checked devotions but I am unable to check Tools>Devotions therefore I am unable to view the devotions.

I have uninstalled e-Sword twice and reinstalled it to no avail. I checked the e-Sword folder and it had been deleted from my computer.

However, I notice that both the devotions are also installed without my downloading them again. This also applies to several Commentaries as well (where have they come from?). Are they stored in another location?

Any help very much appreciated - I am 74 years old and not very "au fait" with computers.

12 March: Since writing the above, I have uninstalled e-Sword and reinstalled it again this time from my admin account and the Devotions work fine but not on my own account. So on my own account I reset e-Sword but unfortunately I still cannot get the Devotions.

Sorry, I don't know why this post is in html (?) format.

Hello. I am also having the same problem. Daily Devotions (Spurgeon's Morning and Evening) no longer appears when I open e-sword. And when I attempt to open Daily Devotions in Tools, nothing happens. I am running e-sword 12.1.0 on Windows 10.

I hope somebody out there can help us.

It turns out that the Daily Devotions window was off-screen. In setting up my home office during COVID-19 I moved my 2 monitors around and must have opened the program in one window, and then moved it to the second screen without bringing the Devotions window with it. Thanks to RM.
