eSword Prayer Request Modules shows 4 types of Prayer Requests;

 

Adoration

Confession

Thanksgiving

Is it possible for the user to add to this list?

It does not appear to have a table with names a user can add to. It just has a type with the content defined as an integer. Perhaps you should contact Rick Meyers to suggest some additional ones.

No, there isn't.

 

That said, make a request to Rick Meyers (the author of e-Sword) to make the dropdown combobox to be editable so that cusotmized prayer types can be added and saved.
