Below is  a raw video I've just created which tries to answer your question. I don't know how well I did, but I do hope that it is helpful to you.

Blessings,

Thank you for the informational video. It was encouraging and I thank you for taking the time and effort to do it and present information is  a manner that it could be understood. I even learned a little more about using Tooltip in e-Sword. Mossua11

In eSword, how can we add The New Strongs Exaustive Concordance of the Bible?

eSword currently has the Strong's numbers associated with the KJV Bible words and other Bible downloads. this is very good.

We need the ability to have a true type Concordance that lists every key word in the  KJV Bible except a, an, and, to, I, and similar type common items. The Concordance should list every Bible key word by each of it variations and the scriptures where the word appear.

For instance in a Concordance when looking up the word stoop, it appears as follows.

1. Stoop

    Job 9:13

    Prov 12:25

    Isa 46:2

    Mark 1:7

2. Stooped

    Gen 49:9

    1 Sam 24:8

    1 Sam 24:18

    2 Chron 32:3

    John 8:6

    John 8:8

    John 20:11

3. Stoopeth

     Isa 46:1

4. Stooping

     Luke 24:17

     John 20:5

The Concordance lists all the words in alphabetical order. When you do not know how to spell  the word or its different variations being used you are in trouble looking it up. In a Concordance with all the words listed, you can physically search each word and see what is what. eSword does have a very good search function; but, you must know how to spell the word. The search function shows one word at a time.

How can we get the New Strongs Exhuastive Concordance of the Bible added to eSword?

I want to thank each one of you for the information on the Concordance and revising the font to a smaller size.

Based on what I know now, there may be copyright or public domain issues. I will not get in trouble with God by violating the Law; I will obey God in all things.  What will be  needful is having a data base that has all the words that are in the KJV Bible with the variations of how the word is spelled in the bible. After the word is listed then the scriptures in the bible where the word appears is listed. An example would be as follows:

Stoop

Job 9:13     the proud helpers do s under him      7817

Prov 12:25 in the heart on man maketh it s           7812

Isa 46:2      They s, they bow down together         7164

Mark 1:7     shoes I  am not worthy to s down       2955

In a Concordance, normally next to the scripture reference, a short portion of the actual scripture is written so you can see what the scripture reference is.  A letter is used to represent the word being looked at -- for stoop, the letter s is used. Then a number representing the Strong's number in Hebrew or Greek is given such as 7812 from the reference for Job 9:13.

A  word Bible Concordance with scripture references only is needed. We do not have to have the scripture  sentence or the Strong's number.  We need two things. We need the word and the references. The reason for this is that e-Sword already provides  an excellent scripture sentence and a Strong's number.

Now if we have all the KJV Bible words in alphabetical order and list the various scriptures under the words

we can  look up what we need to study.  When we have the word and the scripture -- e-Sword Tooltip can be used to  format the scripture so we can hoover over the scripture and see what the bible says.

Stoop

  Job 9:13

  Prov 12:25

  Isa 46:2

  Mark 1:7

What I have been thinking about is how to get a alphabetical word listing of every word in the KJV Bible. We want to use the 1769 KJV edition of the KJV Bible. From the reading I have been doing, I understand that there are some 788, 000 plus words overall in the KJV bible.  Many words are duplicates or variations of an existing word. I also understand that there are some 14,000 actual various word in the KJV bible.  Some words or identifiers like  to, too, a, an and, of, the, I, am, or, and similar items would not be include because they are common usage words.

I believe that a  next step is finding a public domain database or list of all the words in the KJV bible. We can also have an A to Z  alphabet list and when we click on A , all the bible words in A will appear.

There are some thoughts. What are your thoughts? Some one asked the question, how much time do I have to do this. I do not know;but, God knows my time; I trust him and I thank God that if we reason together,it will not take long. Please let know your thoughts.

In eSword, how can we add The New Strongs Exaustive Concordance of the Bible?

While we may not be able to do in E-Sword what you appear to want I have come across a program that may work for you.

There is an updated alphabetic list of words from KJVPureBibleSearch 3.0.0

This list is influenced by the "advice" of Nic Kizziah against the so called "Counterfeit King James Bibles" that are spelling differences and minor changes between the KJV editions. Even I who study this topic don't know which edition agrees for 100% with Nic Kizziah.

For example: "mortar Vs morter": follow the KJVPureBibleSearch twice ( Num 11:8 Pro 27:22 ) the mortar spelling and 11 times the morter spelling.  While the 1611 editions have 13 times morter.

The list is in the download

http://www.purebiblesearch.com/

Download KJVPureBibleSearch

C:\Program Files (x86)\KJVPureBibleSearch\KJVCanOpener\doc

and open with Excel the kjv_summary.xls file

This list has 12838 different words (words with an apostrophe and spelling variants of names are counted as separated words)

From Fun KJV Facts in KingJamesPureBibleSearch.pdf based on his edition.

Total Verses: 31102
ï‚· Old Testament Verses: 23145
ï‚· New Testament Verses: 7957
ï‚· Total Words: 789629 (excluding titles, superscriptions, and colophons) and
790849 including superscriptions and colophons.
ï‚· Old Testament Words: 609247 (excluding titles, superscriptions, and
colophons) and 610281 including superscriptions and colophons.
ï‚· New Testament Words: 180382 (excluding titles, superscriptions, and
colophons) and 180568 including superscriptions and colophons.

I have generated a file of KJV words, listed in alphabetical order, along with their frequencies.
I also included bible references for those words from 30 frequencies down to 1 frequency.

I decided on the 30 frequency because I felt like it would be too "busy" to include over that amount.
Still though, that is over 10817 of the total 12872 words...that includes hyphenated and the possessive ' words.
If this is acceptable, it can be run through tooltip.
(just open it in tooltip, 1st, and click on "scripture" at top and then click "tooltip" (wait for it to finish, will take a good bit of time) and then click on "modules" and then look down the list and hover on "dictionary" then click "save dictionary file", assign it a name.

I can't state it is 100% accurate but it would be a very useful to for looking up KJV words.
(There may be a very few inconsistencies and I don't want to maintain this in any way)

If someone else wants to repost it as a module, that is fine with me.

If you have BeST, and e-Sword 7.x or 8.x modules, you can create a concordance in e-Sword dictionary form, from an e-Sword Bible module.  Downside is that you then have to convert it to e-Sword 11.x file formats.

RevSteve,

Thank you very much for the information database. I used the information and using e-Sword Tooltip made an e-Sword Dictionary module. The module has been submitted for approval. The module is named KJV_Words.dctx with a screen tab of KJVwordlist. I put as the author the following: "RevSteve -- Database / mossua11 -- Tooltipped and made e-Sword module". This is a excellent step in a forward direction toward a full KJV Bible Concordance. I am already using it. For words with a frequency of 33 or more, I will go to my e-Sword bible Search function.
