Hi all, firstly just an update, im still working on the john stevenson module among others, its taking alot longer than i expected, but it is getting done. Its not a straight forward cut and paste of text unfortunatley, it does require about 20-30mins of work per page making it look good and creating tables to replace gif's from stevenson's commentary which obviously cant be read by topx reader. I had been in contact with Bob utley re his commentary, however havnt heard back as to whether module creation would be permisable.

I recently downloaded a module entitled 'timeline' its a geaneology timeline created by Belinda Worth. This is the best geaneology timeline I have seen period, and I would love to find out if its available for purchase as a wall chart. However the link to the source page within the module info is a dead link, and a search for belinda worth in the SE hhas proved fruitless. Does anyone know if she has another website now and if the chart is available for purchase as a wall poster. If not how would i go about converting this into a format i could take to a local graphics/printing company to have them make me a wall chart(about 6 foot)? im also open to suggestions of other timelines that are as comprehensive as this, its the geanelogy im specificaly bothered about, but if another showd as accuratley this info alongside other info such as dates of the cannon writting, other key historical figures etc. then all the better. I like the look of Agards 'The amazing bible timeline' however by the time one pays for shipping to Scotland, its a bit pricy. As far as the like of the Rose book of bible charts and book of timelines, zondervans old testament and new testament timelines and the like, if i could view the content I could make an informed decision, however pictures of the content are'nt available, so if anyone has used either of these and can comment on their suitability, again i would appreciate this.

Third on the agenda. I recently ask some advice on the christianity board forum(affiliated with this)however its like drawing teeth getting a straight answer, so i've linked to the question and if someone could answer the question raised it would be a God send.

Many thanks,

You're right, Google doesn't show any leads on this. The graphic could possibly be recreated at a high enough resolution for large poster printing. Scaling up a small graphic to poster size usually looks terrible.

That's an IPBoard site, the same software we run. Looks they have a very nice Christian debate area.

Hi,

Please try this site: http://www.swartzent...rough_Isaac.htm

If you do a search of the site, you will find many more timelines.

Cheers guys. yeh i had that concern about resizing of the chart too Josh, it seems to zoom well(which made me think it may have been a vector graphic?) but if its bitmap pixelation is inevitable. Kudos to the module creator though, its fantastic. Thanks for the link Dyan, that is exactly what im looking for :)

Do the email addresses also bounce?

and if the chart is available for purchase as a wall poster.

Try CBD. They had a wall chart that looked similar. I'm not sure if they still offer it, though.

If not how would i go about converting this into a format i could take to a local graphics/printing company to have them make me a wall chart(about 6 foot)?

With some difficulty.

if i could view the content I could make an informed decision,

Amazon search.

so i've linked to the question and if someone could answer the question raised it would be a God send.

Is this your question:

Where can I obtain a hardcopy Interlinear Bible that includes textual apparatus, a modern English translation, the Masoretic Hebrew text, and the Greek text?

I've seen them in seminary bookstores. They are very expensive.

If you:
  • Are willing to put a lot of time into creating it;
  • Can find a modern PD translation that you tolerate/accept. ( The WEB Bible/The Catholic PD Bible );
  • << Toss out inapplicable languages listed below.>>
  • Are willing to learn to read/write Greek;
  • Are willing to learn to read/write Hebrew;
  • Are willing to learn to read/write Aramaic;
  • Are willing to learn to read/write Latin;
  • Are very good at proof reading;
then
  • Select your base text. (English, Aramaic, Greek, Hebrew, or Latin);
  • Throw it into LibreOffice;
  • Pretty print the text with double spaced lines.
  • Create eight ruby styles:
  • Hebrew Strong Number;
  • Greek Strong Number;
  • Greek Word;
  • Hebrew Word;
  • Latin Word;
  • Aramaic Word;
  • English Word;
  • Other textual apparatus;
  • Start with בְּרֵאשִׁית
  • End with αμην
  • Add each word/number/textual appratus in the appropriate place, as a ruby.
  • When completed, print out your text.
If you'd like the result to look more like a traditional book, then have Snowfall Press print the material from your PDF.

Hi Jonathon, i never even thought of that, having the book printed privately. Will look into it. Its alot of work, but a good idea. When you say very expensive how expensive?(buying from a seminary shop i mean) Im not oppesed to the idea of buying Green's, its just had alot of bad reviews for inaccuracy, leaving just the problem of a text where the strongs numbers are displayed alongside the text. Surely such a bible exists?
By CBD to you mean christianbook.com?Ive checked and realy cant see what im looking for as viewing of the product close enough to see its detail isnt possible. im not spending money in the hope it provides the detail i need.
The Belinda Worth email(littleisrealhasabiggod)i havnt tried, again good idea, i'll send an email and see if its still active.
