Greetings all,

I've just built a brand new system and have installed ES 12 on it, so I want to copy the data files (Bibles, etc.) from my laptop, which is up to date, to the new system; however, I noticed when opening ES on my laptop, it stated something about new locations for storing data--Onedrive or something. I then updated to ES 12 on my laptop, but I don't know where those new locations are.

Thanks,

Starkman

UPDATE:

Okay, so I found the location for the OneDrive ES folder; however, it seems to be the same as the one in Documents. Otherwise, I copied everything over to the old folders as well, and it's all working.

Could someone, thus, enlighten me about the OneDrive use? I don't use OneDrive, so I'm not sure what's going on here.

OneDrive is Microsoft Cloud service, and works the same way as Dropbox and any other Cloud service does. You can create your own folders and sub-folders in it in the same way you can on your Hardrive, or Solid State drive (SSD).

Oh, I'm aware of what OneDrive is;that wasn't my issue. I had noticed that it said it's using it, and I really don't want to use OnneDrive.

That said, I wanted to know any new data file locations that have changed (inview of that OneDrive notification I saw).

Click the menus, Options+Resource Options,  the locations will be listed at the bottom of the dialog box.

Yup, found that. Thanks. And what about OneDrive? How do I disable ES from using it?

Are you resource or user file locations using OneDrive? Did you install e-Sword it OneDrive?  I don't use OneDrive so uninstalled it.

Hmm. Thought I had responded to your post, BH. Serves me right for doing so on my "Smartphone!"

No, I don't use OneDrive at all, so it's uninstalled. I've also removed the ES reference to it as well.

Thanks much.
