Hi, I just installed the new tooltip (2018.0453) and receive a warning that the space is to little for the settings. And then open like a page but straight up to bottom, and nothing else except a "ok" button that does nothing, by the way.

I think to reinstall the old one, but wanted to know what's wrong.

Blessings, it is a great tool.

Emil

Uninstalled Tooltip, and now e-sword is not responding? Is there any connection between them? What should be the problem? I'm using windows 7.

TooltipTool uses the same display engine that e-Sword uses, though uninstalling Tooltip should not remove the shared component.  Have re-installed e-Sword?  As for the error you received from Tooltip, I'd need more information.  However, one thing that can occur is if you shrink the main window very small, the display engine may complain that there is not enough screen real estate to display text.

About esword, I choiced the repair option and is working fine now. I desinstalled Tooptip I dn't dare to reinstall it again; that was scary b'cause didnt now what was happening.

Thanks for responding. I like your program, let me tell you,  never before had have a problem.

It would be helpful to know the actual warning you received.

I reinstalled and voila, is working great now. So the problem remains in the mystery. Oh well.

Blessings.

Hi, I've used E-Sword ToolTipNT to make many modules over the years.  Thanks for all your work.

BUT the latest version is problematic:

I set up my commentary module from a .RTF file, then clicked on 'Save Commentary'. All seemed to go well - the black bar wends its way across the bottom, and the message box then says that my new commentary file has been saved.

However, the file size is zero. Tried many times, with same result.

This process was done in my desktop which runs Windows 10 Creators 64 bit.

I re-downloaded & installed Tooltip but with same result.

I uninstalled Tooltip and installed  on the desktop an earlier version of Tooltip which I had on my laptop.  Opened the same RTF file and used the same Commentary Variables. That worked just fine.

Please help.  I would prefer to use the latest version.

Compliments to you,

BeeyaYZ

Send a sample file which reproduces your resutls here: https://my.pcloud.co...XDLtgHb3SvR9kzX

Also - have you tried building your file as a CMTI file instead of a CMTX?
