I just downloaded The Sermon Bible by William Nicoll and put it in my E-Sword file but I can't seem to figure out how to load it. I got my E-sword a couple of days ago and I think that is okay. But still trying to figure out how it works. So it could be something I'm doing or not doing. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Greg

Hi Greg,

Great to see that you've got, perhaps which most users regard as the best Bible Program, e-Sword. Now for the rest.

OK, if you're downloading resource from the e-Sword Download Manager, they are automatically by default downloaded to either of the following:

  • Windows 64bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword
  • Windows 32bit: C:\Program Files\e-Sword.

If you are downloading resources from here, irrespective of the browser you are using, the default download is the Download folder on your C: drive. See screenshot below.

Well I tried that and it still doesn't load in e-sword. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place for it. Is it in the Library, or should be in there.

Thanks  Greg

With e-Sword running, selection Options from the e-Sword menu and then "Resources" from the Options drop down menu, this will open a small window showing all of the installed resources in e-Sword. The resources are displayed in lists in small windows within the resources window, with check boxes next to each resource. Check the lists in each list window and see of the module in question is listed. If the module is listed but the check box next to it is unchecked, click the check box activate module. Doing this will make the module accessible in e-Sword

Because you said "Thanks," that got you a like from me.

Its not very often people say "thank you," but when they do, its really appreciated. So with that, its been a real honor to help you, and thank you."

Blessings,

I was brought up in a Christian home and taught proper manners. Such as respecting your elders and to say please and thank you. There is much evil in this world now and I just shake my head with what I see. It is not just the young people it is also a lot of older people as well. I am sixty years old and I'm on disability and very hard for me to walk. The other day I was coming out of a store with a lady less than five feet in front of me and she looked back at me and just let the door close in front of me. I said thanks for holding the door open for me and her reply was .. Why should I. I told her it was called RESPECT and walked away.
