Hi, when I try to uncheck modules in "resource options" on Windows an click ok, the module disappears.

But then: reentering the submenu, ALL the checkmarks are gone and I have to recheck every wanted resource again, otherwise, ALL resources will disappear when clicking OK.

Is there a solution?

Thanks, Thomas

Your resource location folders are set to d:\dropbox\esword which might be your problem as e-Sword looks for installed modules in the following location by default:

c:\Program Files (x86)\e-sword

The e-sword folder inside your program files folder is where all modules that have been correctly installed into e-Sword are placed unless you have specified differently during a module's installation process. It seems that in your case e-Sword does not recognize the modules as being correctly installed.

Thank you very much, I will try that.

To make module installation simple and easy there is a utility program called e-Sword Module Installer that can be downloaded from this site:

You need have the modules or resources installed in the default directory along with the program files in order for e-Sword to find them.

Open the e-Sword default folder in the Program Files (x86) folder and see what is in there, if you do not see all of the resources you want to use then you need to install them into that folder

I now deleted E-Sword completely and reinstalled only the basic version without the additional and purchased resources. The problem persists..

I have E-Sword installed on 2 other Windows machines. All is in order there. Just this PC has this problem.

Could there be another reason for this?

Are the modules such as KJV and KJV+ in the c:\Program Files (x86)\e-sword folder if they are then the issue might be in the windows registry on the machine where you are having the problem.

You state you have now uninstalled and reinstalled e-Sword twice and the problem still persists. So it sounds like there is a registry key that is not being removed when you performed the uninstall of e-Sword.

I am not sure how to fix registry issues unfortunately

You could see if CCleaner would identify registry entries after an uninstall and delete only those entries pertaining to e-Sword. Be careful with that program however if you don't know how to use it. I see your last picture has the dropbox for location, can you manually change that back to default location? Personally, I like to leave that type option default unless you have an unusual requirement for a special need.
