E-sword user for many years can't even remember when I converted from Logos after Quick Verse for windows through version 6.  I have a dream for the use of this software.  I have searched high and low for a good video using this software to educate the church members in the pew how to use it.  I do see videos attempting to display its functions, but that is not the issue.  I see that individuals who have downloaded this software do not use it not because they cannot navigate it but because they do not understand how to apply it to a subject they desire to learn more about.  I fully believe that this software and understanding the value it has in determining what God's Word says in the hands of the members in the pews would give them the confidence to become teachers of the lost and some of their preachers.  Especially, those who were educated by the educators and never began to learn on their own. I do not have the expertise to put a video together like this, is there any one out there who can?

How long might it have been since you looked at these?  I had looked at these years ago and decided that they did not serve the concepts that I had in mind.  So I looked again at word study which is not what I would do in the method that I use to study, but only 5 pages of 47 have anything on them.  Did you notice the time on the last update?  2011 There are a lot of new things under the sun since then.  To get back in the evaluation, I saw nothing in these that would interest  a Christian of the pews who may only have a high school edu, well even college because in word studies we want to know what is God's message not a scholar.  Scholars want to go to their definitions, they don't use word comparisons of the writers use of the word or between translation differences.  All this is very easily done in e-sword but unless you learn it yourself you will never get it.  The super simple searches and comparison of writers and translators is something almost anyone could be taught and it would have meaning to them.  A screencast walking them through a study of a topic is something that would be easily grasp by the individuals that I have reference to, oh by the way I don't believe that many preachers even understand the concept.  I know many who have never used a computer for their studies.  Could you understand why that would be true?  They have never been shown how.
