If you don't find your answer here on the developer site https://www.e-sword.net/mac/faq.htm

Contact the developer from the Contact tab to see if the M1 chip makes any difference.

Hey Jon,

Earlier today I got an article in my inbox about the Apple M1 chip. Its, ummm, a very interesting article.

Blessings,

The pathway mentioned earlier in this topic is correct, but you must remember to replace "youraccountname" with the actual name of your home folder, or it won't work. I have an M1 Mac and this path is correct.

However, if your file is truly an e-Sword module file, you shouldn't even need to access this folder. All you would have to do is double-click the file and e-Sword will open and automatically import the file. If this isn't happening, I suspect that your file is not actually an e-Sword file. Does the file name end with .bbli?

Edit: I just looked at the website you mentioned and your file is definitely not an e-Sword module. It is for programs compatible with Crosswire Sword.
