V11 of e-Sword has added additional spacing between verses. Maybe this is better for those with big monitor, but on my laptop I now have to scroll a lot more. Also, when copying verses, especially with "Format 3", there are additional lines between the verses!

  • v10 (Copy Verses Format 3):
    Romans 8:1-4 NKJV
    (1)  There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
    (2)  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
    (3)  For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,
    (4)  that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
  • v11 (Copy Verses Format 3):

Is there a way - an option or template - to remove this spacing (on screen & copying)?

Have you updated the NKJV to the current version which should be html format. It appears to me that only the old rtf format modules display like this.

But now I have the opposite issue.

  • v10 (Copy Verses Format 1):

(Romans 8:1 NKJV)  There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

(Romans 8:2 NKJV)  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

(Romans 8:3 NKJV)  For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,

(Romans 8:4 NKJV)  that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

This time I want the spacing between the verses! And yes, I have already reinstalled the NKJV Bible module - and I did it again just to make sure.

I found that if I copy into a word processor or into a topic file the formatting is ok, but if I copy that text from the topic file to a word processor then all the formatting is lost and no spacing between verses.

I’m willing to compromise about many things, but not the Word of God

There must be conviction before there can be conversion
