Hi every one. I live in Hong Kong, but originally from Japan. My name is Josh.
I love e-Sword and appreciate all of people who made this application available.
e-Sword became my essential for any and every occasion I want to dig deep into the Bible text, since I got iPhone and iPad (though I use PC version as well). eS includes Bible translations of Japanese, my mother tongue (2 in eSword HD, 1 in eSword LT), and only eS enables quick comparison with the original texts and refer to renowned classical commentaries.
Now I just bring only my iPad to Sunday services and any Bible study meetings. I can take notes in Japanese while I can cut and paste the Bible verses in Japanese, Greek and Hebrew.
I am always grateful for what is provided inside eS - as I taught myself the Biblical languages since my high school days. I do not have to bring the printed editions of Study Bibles or BHS or NA.
I have been merited from eS because it is very easy to switch between Hebrew texts and Greek text - Hebrew OT, Greek NT, and Hebrew versions (Delitzsch-Dalmann and Salkinson) of NT to read Jewish OT concept implications in Greek NT.
I recollect with nostalgia of Snaith edition and cream-colored cloth edition of BHS with about 4 inches.
Shalom in the Lord
