Hi all,

I am putting cross references to a bible from the Apocrypha

I have found this one an example

Mat 22:23 is related to Tobit 3:8

does anybody have any more references like this

this is more for a historical view point

please post if you have any to share.

thanks

Hi Sashiir,

No. MySword does not support Apocrypha in the bible, but it is in a book (topic).  I found a way to put extra text popups in my Bible using strong numbering system from my Dictionary.

thanks

hi all,

what version of the Apocrypha do you use? Which one is more accurate?

Examples:  1. Benton; 2. Geneva;  3. Bishops; 4. Kjv 1611; etc.

thanks

None, I do not accept those as canonic, and with accurate do you mean the compared with the LXX.

Not Brenton and NAB-A and NJB because it use more dynamic equivalence then the KJV

And the KJV 1611 is an update of the Bishops.

The best Old KJV version with Apocrypha is the KJV-r-a (King James version Red letter with Apocrypha 1850)

The Wycliffe, Douay-Rheims and CPDV are a translation of a translation (Greek->Latin-> English)

It is between the Disciple's Bible, KJV-r-a, the Geneva and WEBA and WEBBE

The Disciple's Bible  © 2012 Jeff D. Huddleston is the most literal.
