Help editing an e-sword bible

I think "all" quoted here apply only to e-Sword modules for PC , not for Mac.

I want to edit any bible (preferably KJ) because I do not like the fact the word "wineskins" was replaced with bottles, and the words "wheat" and "grain" were replaced with corn, even in the KJV 1611. Its become nonsensical the way its phrased ..."a corn of wheat" makes no sense at all

 

Joh_12:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
 

Is supposed to read

Also Isaiah 11:6 and Isaiah 65:25 has changed from the lion laying with the lamb, to the wolf dwelling with the lamb.

 

Isa_11:6  The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb

I tried ToolTip Tool NT, to no avail. I get an error message in e-sword after editing

King James English grammar is totally different from today's English grammar. Moreover, meaning of words back in the time of King James II, including the 18th and 19th Centuries were totally different, and have also radically changed. OK., bearing this in mind, the statement, "a corn of wheat," is a correct translation for that time. Grain and seed would be regarded as synonyms for the word corn.

 

So, taking all of that into consideration, the "a corn of wheat" statement isn't as nonsensical as you would like to assert, especially when you are dealing with Bible that was translated 200+ years ago.

 

As a matter of interest, the text used e-Sword for the KJV is from the 1769 edition. Its now 2016, and so in the space of 247 years the meaning of words have radically changed. One thing that you can be certain of is that our language is on the forever change, and in about another 247 years, the way we even have spoken and what words meant would look, errr, nonsensical..

If its a third party (not an official e-Sword) resource, and providing it has either a bblx or a bbli file extension, then the answer is, yes you can.

 

For minor edits, you can use SQLite Manager or SQLite Browser. However, if its major edits required, use ToolTipTool NT (T4) to do the work.

Ok, so Ive got an idea for an abridged series, Ive scribbled down notes when I think of stuff. Its an Inuyasha abridged, due to the fact that there arent any good ones, save Episode infinity by GanXingba, quickly I remembered how much I hated editing in computer class, plus Im only ok at it. So my question is how would I find someone willing to help edit?
