Hi,

I am attempting to create a Greek-English lexicon that is NOT keyed to Strong. I am using T4 and am having issues on how e-Sword orders the Greek terms in the Dictionary Topics (right panel). Changing the #define nosort=0 does not seem to change anything in e-Sword. Also, unlike Strong keyed dictionaries, when I double click a Greek word in the Bible window, the dictionary does not lookup the corresponding word. Does anyone else have experience with this type of module?

I think what would be helpful for me is to be able to see the behavior of another non-strong lexicon. Does anyone know of any non-strong Greek lexicon dictionary modules available in the download area?

Thanks for your help.

Andre.

eSword can not do what you want it to do

that is why all lexicons are keyed to strongs that is the only way double clicking will work to quickly find an entry

to us a lexicon with Greek only you have to manually search the topic list and then click on the entry

#define nosort= only deals with the order of the topics

having #define nosort=0 set to 0 will sort your topic list setting it to 1 will keep it from sorting and display the topics in the order you have created them in the rtf

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

If you are using Greek characters, then you will find a great deal of difficulty. But if you are using Greek Transliterated text you shouldn't find it to be a problem.
