Through a series of coincidences (wink) God lead me to be able to put Mysword on my PC..

1. Download Bluestack app player

2. Find browser in bluestack and go to google playstore

3. Download Mysword & ES File explorer

4. Download basic files for Mysword

5. Copy your mysword folder from your Tablet or Phone onto your PC

6. OPTIONAL Open ES File explorer and use this to add your own custom modules to your new Mysword folder on your PC

Voila! That's it....I have been using is it for several days now, no glitches and you can even put your DELUXE or PREMIUM version in there for use especially for the split screen mode.

Also IVONA text to speech is available which I have found to be a great study tool for reading and concentrating on large chunks of passages

Cheers, jeff

Trust bluestacks has been improved.  I tried it some time ago and it was so flaky and clunky that I gave up.  Did get Mysword functioning with it.  May have to give stacks another try, would love to run android on the desktop now and then.

Hey Jeff,

I'm running Windows 8.1. So, your thoughts on this, do you think this will work on this system???

Should work fine though you have to pay 2 bucks a month or download sponsored games to use stacks.

I was in the process of setting up mysword on an 8.1 system when they finally informed me of charges or forced downloads.  Don't know how often you have to download their stuff.

Another option if you use the free VM Player https://my.vmware.co...ware_player/6_0

You can install Android on that from these instructions http://xmodulo.com/2...are-player.html

but use a more up-to-date .iso image https://code.google....25.iso&can=2&q=

MySword ran ok and these are free software.

I haven't downloaded stack yet, and going on what you just told me, it looks like I wont be doing it.

This might be my pet freaking out  coming to the fore, but when I see either forced downloads and etc., that sort of has the stench of malware and etc. So on that basis its goodbye to Bluestack.

Hi Everyone.

Hey Quick follow-up to this topic......I have been using this program for several weeks now with no issues with malware. I have malware scanner and protector and have not had any notable buildup issues at all with it so far...I was using the paid version for the first 2 weeks and then bought another computer and haven't transferred the license over yet and still working great with all the conveniences and notes of my mysword working together with my Phone, tablet and now computer!

I really enjoy mysword better then esword for studying so this has been a great blessing for me and hope it can be a blessing for others!

cheers, jeff
