Attached File  E-Sword Screen.bmp   3.45MB   9 downloads

I hope this works. I see a string, but have no idea whether the bmp will show or not. I am going to take a chance here because I can't see anything in preview mode.

On the screenshot, where each individual window is located, on my old system (that crashed) each window had a white section beneath it where I could view what I had selected. On the top of each window, where you see Bible or Commentaries, etc there would be a tool bar of sorts. And on the bottom right hand corner where the Editor window is, at the bottom of that screen I could choose my Topix files in a bar at the very bottom of the window.

How can I get all of these things back? I am at a loss. I have tried to look for the appropriate demos or help files, but either I am looking for the wrong things or not sure what I need to be looking for. I have read through the attached help file that is with the program and it shows the pics of what I want, but doesn't explain how to get them. If that makes any sense. I can see in the pics what I want and what I don't have, but am at a loss.

I believe this is version 10.2 that I have installed. During the install this time, everything went smoothly with no apparent problems. I was able to load back in the files that I had before. There doesn't seem to be any corruptions.

If you can see this picture, you will see that I have used Tab Renamer on my files. This happened just before my HD crashed and they seem to have carried over with no problem. And my windows were all fine on the old system, but now, I can't seem to get it back to where it was with the viewing pane (if that is what you call it).

I hope I did this right.

Thanks for being patient with me.

It is a simple setting that is needed. From the main menu choose Options -> Resource. At the bottom left of the dialog that opens select the option "Display Tabs in a Single Row".

Josh said above about purchashed modules:

"You can download your purchased modules, and the same keys work for version 10." But how do I do that? I can only put them in the cart and they then want payment!"

Thanks,

Peter

Use the download function from inside e-Sword. It's on the top command row and divided by resource types. You'll have to enter your keys as you select the ones you want, and e-Sword will install the modules for you.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Hi Peter,

If you don't have you key code for your purchased resources, and if they are from eStudySource, then they are very easily retrieved.  All you need to do is log into your account and then do the following:

  • Click on the MY ACCT. menu. This will take you to your Account Information page.
  • In your Account Information page, click on the View Orders menu, and this will take you to your View Orders page.
  • OK, once you are in your View Orders page, you will see a list of all of your purchases.
  • You can do one of two things to get your key code of any of the purchases, and they are:
    1. Click on the View Order Receipt. IN that page you will be able to view the Product Key for that particular resource; or
    2. Click on the Product Key Recovery link, and you will be sent an email with your Product Key details.

OK, now here is a bit of information which you might find helpful

Because you have already bought the resource, but might have lost it, or may have accidentally deleted it, you are able to re-download it from your View Receipt page. However, it is important that you take note of the Product Key code so that you can unlock the resource in order to install it.

I trust that this information has helped you.

If you need anymore information, feel free to ask.

Blessings,
