Can the toolbars be moved to two lines? They take up a lot of vertical space.

Sorry, no it's not possible currently with e-Sword. But it is possible because another program we use (Tooltip NT) does have this capability and Tooltip uses the same RTF plug-in that Tooltip does.
I recommend suggesting this enhancement because it's been requested or mentioned previously: www.e-sword.net/feedback.html

yes. I'm fine with the tabs. I just don't like that the toolbars are not side by side and take up so much vertical space.
I assumed you were talking about the Editor window toolbars.

Good question! the toolbars do take up a lot of space.. Common complaint I think.
Not so much of a problem if you use one or more of your windows as flyouts rather than leaving them open all the time.
