Hello,

There is no e sword installer for android.

You can, however, run a program called MySword on android. You can get the installer for MySword at http://www.mysword.info/ or from the google play market by searching for MySword.

MySword has no affiliation with e sword. You can however, download 3rd party modules for MySword at this site in the MySword downloads area.
http://www.biblesupp...ysword-modules/

E Sword modules will not work with MySword.

There are some MySword modules you can download from within the program itself.

Blessings,
Peter

The preferred Bible Study program for the Android platform is called MySword.  This forum supports it.  In actuality, it is far more mature and robust with more resources (aka modules) than e-Sword for the iPad.

Look here for official program information:

Look here for the resources:

Look here for forum support:

You can download the app itself from your preferred android app store.

I have the premium MySword version for tablets on my Acer Tablet and it's the closest thing to E-Sword you could ask for. The ony setback is not having the premium Bibles like the Amplified, NLT, The Message and others that I would love to have. E-Sword for IPad is looking really good now. I wish they would hurry and do an Android version of E-Sword.

He charges money for this program that leverages public domain material that was scanned/proofread by volunteers like myself and won't even fix a price but hides in flowery language calling it "seed". Makes me wonder how the IRS perceives his "seed" money.

Ernie,

The developers of MySword are not from the United States.

The value of MySword for most of us here is not only the modules that come with the pogram, but the hundreds available here. Many of also make our own modules for personal use.

I have donated foe the deluxe version of MySword because it is that valuable to me. I can research anywhere on my phone or tablet. Every book becomes an audio book I can listen to while driving.

If it is not worth it to you, you are under no obligation to donate. You can use the free version or delete the app and use something else.

Blessings,
Peter

And a side note, e-Sword is not the same as MySword--MySword is created by different developers. So, I changed the title of this from "e-Sword for android" to "MySword for android" to avoid any confusion.
