This is directed mostly at those who create and upload modules. I had an interesting and aggravating realization today:

I was putting the finishing touches on J.W. McGarvey's "The Authorship of Deuteronomy", when I realized that the text which was provided for me was incomplete. No, it wasn't a sentence here or there. I am in possession of 106 pages of text (that which was provided for me). The complete book is around 344 pages. The version I had did not have a table of contents added to it, so that wasn't any help. But before the first chapter, it said "Part One." I got somewhat suspicious when I never found a "Part Two." Thank you, Google Books for letting me know that there's a lot more work to do before this one will see the light of day...



I do have a few other modules that are nearing completion, so I'll hopefully be uploading something sometime soon.

Hi Brad, good catch! I've had the same thing happen to me - the only way I've been able to avoid it was to do a quick visual scan of the module manuscript side-by-side of the PDF file, checking the page numbers as I went.


I've also noticed that some of the online sites that purport to display a book or sermon is sometimes inaccurate or missing large chunks of text. At the currant rates of inaccuracy the complete set of John Owens Works might be 100 pages in length in 20-30 years.

I've noticed that with more than a couple of PDFs from both The Internet Archive, and Google Books.
