I would like to make some audio modules using some mp3s that I have on my computer for eSword.
Can you tell me how to do that?
I noticed that the KJVAudio and the HebrewAudio have been made into SQLite 3 files and then the MP3s are in a separate folder.
Is there an easy way to do that?
Thanks.
Bob

That is one use I would like to use it for.
I had thought of doing one of worship songs also.

I have tried the Tooltip NT 4 program and I insert a link to an MP3 file on my computer.
I then go to Module, Module Define Variables, CMTX - Commentary File.
Then I go to Module, Commentary, Save to Commentary File.
That's when I get the following error:

INDEX ERROR
Unable to process the following reference
Processing aborted

I click OK and nothing is saved.

How do I insert a link to an mp3 file or to any other file on my computer?
It doesn't seem to work.
I have to be missing something here.
Thanks.

I just tried to create an RTF file using Microsoft Word.
I put in the title of the book of the Bible (Genesis).
Then under that I put in Genesis 1 - & then the link to the MP3 file of Genesis 1 on my computer.
I then saved this out as an RTF file.

Then I tried to open it in Tooltip NT 4 v1.10 and received the following error:

Report the following:
VALUE ERROR
TxCtrl [162] 'Error Opening File' 'x' WMsg 'Unable to Open File:',tcn...
----------------------------------------------------------------
TxCtrl [162] *
>[fmTxCtrl.mFile.mOpen;Click]
<[fmTxCtrl;Wait]
Start [48]

What do I do now?
I can't even open an RTF file that I created.

Hi

Here is the rtf code for a link:
{\field{\*\fldinst{HYPERLINK "D:\\Bible\\1\\01\\01.mp3"}}{\fldrslt{\cf2\ul Listen}}}

In blue is the link or path (note that backslashes are doubled, and the link is enclosed with double quotes)
In red is the text of the link.

You can edit the file using any sqlite editor and insert these.

But I don't know how to do that using Tooltip.

For the bible, tell me how your files are arranged.

I had written a program a while back to make an audio module for the bible.

If it is simple enough and I have time, I'll try to modify it to fit your files. But it depends on how the audio files are arranged.

HebAudio is a downloadable module from this site.
It's like the KJVAudio that you can also download from this site.

My Bible Files are arranged very similarly to how the KJVAudio ones are.
I have a folder with all the books of the Bible as the folder names in it.
Under each book of the Bible folder I have each chapter of that book in mp3 format.

I'm still not sure why when I create a new RTF file in Microsoft Word that I cannot open it in ToolTip.
I was able to do this before, and ToolTip opens my previously saved RTF files.
But it won't open a new one that I have attempted to create using the latest Tooltip v.1.10.

UPDATE:
I have solved the problem of ToolTip not being able to open a newly created RTF file.
I had it buried too deep in folders.
When I copied it to the desktop and opened it in ToolTip, it opened fine.

I still can't figure out how to do links in ToolTip so that I can make an audio Bible that I have
or make a module that will play worship songs.
Nothing in the documentation explains how to do that.
I have asked Josh about this but so far haven't heard anything back.
I am wondering if this is something that is not easily done.
