I unpinned or hid the dictionaries and later, when I wanted to open them to look up a word they would not show. All I get is a greyish blank area. Is there a fix for that glitch?Attached File  this-is-my-view-now.jpg   14.87K   4 downloads

That's different looking...

What version of windows? And you're running e-Sword 10?

Have you tried re-sizing your dictionary window or restarting e-Sword.

If that does not work, go to Options - Resource in the Menu, and check if the dictionaries are selected.

Dyan's right. You have no Dictionaries installed, or if you do, none are selected in Options > Resources.

The fix to your, ummm, glitch is simply this . . .

Attached File  e-s_ResourceOptions.jpg   79.52K   8 downloads

And if any of them are empty, then you've got no other modules installed. As you can see by the Screenshot, those are the list of installed resources. And this is the sort of thing you should be able to see. In your Options menu, click on the Resource... menu Item for the Resource Options dialog to come up. If any of them are unchecked, just click on the check box next any of the unchecked ones, and that will fix any of your issues. If there is nothing at all in your Resource Options dialog is a good indication that you don't have any of those resources installed in your Program Files/e-Sword folder.

I have the latest E-Sword with the latest upgrade for 10.

I got it fixed. I found the link under HELP to reset E-Sword settings. I clicked it and everything was normal again. When I unpinned it again and then pinned it back I got the same problem over again. So I reset it again. Best is never to unpin it.

I checked the resource menu and all the resources showed along with 2 dictionairies I installed. Everything was checked.

Sorry, I'm on dialup and it takes forever to download all those big files. I just downloaded what I really needed.
