hi all,

this is what he wrote to me:

Thank you for your interest in my Rainbow Bible. I apologize for not having screen shots on the website at the moment.

The Rainbow Bible sells for $19.95.

There are two files. The Markup.ovl, and the actual Bible file itself.

Right now I haven't set up my links ....

Thanks again and may the Lord bless you.

In Christ, Shawn

If you want to buy this module please e-mail him to the links and e-mail I posted.

thanks

I wonder if that's because he doesn't have permission to sell e-Sword resources?

My guess is that other things are at play.

Since I have been already marking scriptures in my own e-Sword, I have a overlay file that follows those marked scriptures. How then can I install the Rainbow bible which has its own overlay file? If I install the Rainbow bible overlay file, it overwrites mine. Help, I would like to install the Rainbow Bible. Thanks for help from anyone.

Someone else may have other ideas, but I think that you're out of luck if you want to run only one copy of e-Sword on one computer. The only other thing I can think of is manually changing the .ovl file back and forth when you want to run the Rainbow Bible, but that would be a real pain.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

I downloaded a module of the KJV-Rainbow and it set up and ran the text from the files sure enough reliably. But no colors for the text. The instructions say to" Put the Markup.ovl file in the following default directory for Windows 7.
C:\Users\(username)\Documents\e-Sword. But my Linux Dist. doesn't have a documents\e-sword. The file for e-sword is separate from Documents in the temp file. Can anybody recomend a correction for the proper placement of these files so that they will perform properly? Thanks.   -John-

Use the same directory that the e-sword.exe file is in.

That fixed the problem.  Any way to have that added to the download instructions?  Newbies just don't know these things :)   Glad to have it fixed.  I'm a sucker for colors!

Have a good day,

Blessings to all!
