How to Create a Hebrew / Aramaic Bible Module with Tooltip NT

Blessings to all,

Does anybody know how, or what it would take to create a Hebrew letter Bible Module? Here is a link to the specific script of Aramaic (with Hebrew block-style letters) that I would like to copy/paste into a module. Any help would be greatly appreciated, because when I paste it into Tooltip it isn't recognized and just shows up as random characters.

When you emailed me about this, I gave you my standard, "You can't copy OCR'ed text and expect pristine text" speech.

Some PDF's can have foreign languages rendered with legacy fonts (like Gideon-Medium), where the characters are actual text of that font but when you change the font, the letters turn to gibberish. I can convert a lot of legacy foreign language fonts to unicode characters (see the Galaxie Font section of my blog post).

However, in this case, I think what happened is someone OCRed the document and tried to recognize the text based on English characters. The gibberish isn't Tooltip's fault, as this is the result in any word processor. The problem is the PDF is encoded with the gibberish as being the digital representation of the scanned image.

I do not believe you will be able to scan that document and OCR the text with any level of accuracy.

this is what I did I open the file in ocr save it (the text was all mixed up); I opened it in office word; select all; changed the font to Hebrew.

in the file is what i did and the font I used:

To make it show in square script, make the url look like this:

Hi Josh,
As a matter of interest, what is T4 like in doing Hebrew, and making it able to read Right to Left? I know these setting are in the Details Table, and that the Language setting are there too. I also know that the UTF setting for the Database has to be changed from UTF-8 to UTF-16le in order for the Left To Right to work. So when considering these factors, can these settings for Hebrew and Chinese text be changed in T4?
