Hello, I'm new to this site but really like using the e-Sword resources. I've even helped others install e-Sword onto their computers. Recently I made a mistake and downloaded from DoctorDaveT's website the A. Pink package & would like to know if there is anyway of putting them in subfile so I do not have to go through the many files looking for a different author. Thank You -- Jerry

I haven't seen anything on this as yet. There are several large packages that rather make your listing long :-( but :-) on the resources being present.

You can type in the author in the filter window and return to get to specific references quicker.

A directory system of sorts would be a big help. (Or making those packages into one file.).

You can go to the folder where your topics are installed and do what you described—make a subfolder. That's one way that may work well in e-Sword 9.x

Another way--the best way--is to upgrade to e-Sword 10 and view your Topics through the Reference Library. Then, you can type an author or title name, and show only those results in the drop down list of titles.

1st I dont know how it would be a mistake downloading from DDT this site also offers packages
2nd if your using 9 chose open and you can navigate to where the pink folder is
3rd if you download 10 the dropdown in the ref window is in alphabetical order if the naming convention was followed (and I'm sure it was)all of one author should be listed together
4th and you still can navigate to the folder in the topic window by ctrl+left click

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
