Hello APsit190, Thank you for explaining in your UTUBE video how the font size in the various e-Sword views can be changed to smaller or larger font sizes. I did not understand why you thought the originator of this forum entry bdunnv, wanted to use the 10 pt font size. That person explained that they used a 40-inch television screen to work as the size of their available monitor. That is forty-inches, not ten-inches. Oh, listening to your talk again, I now realize that you were initially talking to reply to someone else who wanted their copied text to be downgraded to 10-point size font.
When we send a text to someone else, it is more user-friendly to select a much larger font, to make it easier for the recipient to be able to read the received text more quickly. But, if you are writing a technical manual, to explain something, then you can degrade the font size to 10 point, to provide more text within less pages.
Microsoft used to use 10 point, then later decided to increase the font to at least 11 point, in a document, to make the document much easier to read.
In e-Sword version 13.0.0 for windows on the e-Sword "Options > Font Settings" there are settings for the Default Font type, with associated Default Font Size and Tooltip Font Size and a separate selection to provide for the Editor Font and for the Editor Font Size.
Microsoft in Windows 11 as at June 2022 has made provisions for the "Start" option "Settings" and one option is for "Display". From there, one of the associated options is "Scale & layout". The option "Scale" can be used to "Change the size of text, apps, and other items". On my PC there is a warning, "You shouldn't change these settings unless you need to -- it can cause text and apps to become unreadable. All your displays will be set to the customised scaling size you enter and it can be difficult to go back to your original settings." The "Custom scaling" allows the user to "Enter a custom scaling size between 100% - 500% (not recommended)."
I am sharing my PC screen to an old Samsung monitor with a reasonable resolution, 1920 x 1080, so that is able to scale reasonably well.
Depending on the quality of the TV display, the user may be able to use high dynamic range (HDR). There is a microsoft support article, last updated 2022-04-25, with details for Windows 11 and Windows 10.

Microsoft has related settings for Text size. This option provides a slider to increase the text size. The size of the words in the "Text size preview" will change as I adjust the slider. Any changes I make here will apply to most of the text on my device.
Let me, for example, move the slider up to 175%. The size of these words will change as I adjust the slider. The changes I make here will apply to most of the text on my device. I then select the "Apply" button. The PC will then recalibrate itself, telling me to please wait, while the changes are put into effect. Now return to the Setting "Display". Browse down to see the various options; now I notice that under "Scale & layout" there now appears the information message: "A Custom scale factor is set," with an option to "Turn off custom scaling and sign out" if I want to change that back quickly. The heading "Scale: Change the size of text, apps, and other items" now shows "175%."
Return to view the e-Sword app. The whole display ought to be increased on the screen, even though the font size which would be printed out on paper remains at the tiny fonts. Those the user can change as you explained in your video.
Please read the Microsoft document article, last updated 06/24/2021 (2021-06-24):

To find the date at which any Microsoft article was updated, right-click anywhere in the text of the document; select "view page source"; and search for the "date" options. If you are using the Microsoft Edge browser, or Firefox, you will notice that Microsoft added a helpful selectable "Line wrap" option above the text window; they did so because I asked Microsoft to add that option, although they have still forgotten to add a padding space before the right margin. The wrapper effect causes the text to wrap at the right edge underneath the width of the slider, instead of continuing off the screen. They numbered the lines of the text, to make it easier for the programmer to find his way around the document. The developers did remember to wrap the text to provide for the width of the numbering column on the left.
Perhaps with the settings for the display, which could thus be reset to increase the size of the font, bdunnv may find her/his experience of e-Sword easier to read, together with your instructions that illustrated how to change the font size and style to suit printed pages of information.
