Is there such a resource either paid, or free? I don't see one anywhere.

BDAG is not available for e-Sword. Perhaps you should request it from the developer https://www.e-sword.net/feedback.html

Or here https://estudysource...ge/contact.aspx

So, this has sort of got me wondering as to what is it about the BDAG as to why some rate so highly?

I've recently read some reviews on Google Books, that the BDAG is over priced and over rated, and that Thayer's Unabridged Greek - English Lexicon of the New Testament and the Liddell, Scott, and Jones A Greek-English Lexicon are just as equally good as the BDAG and way less expensive. One reviewer basically shared that the later editions or the more recent edition of the BDAG is more liberal or has been secularized. As to how true that is, I have no idea.

With that said, would I by an electronic edition of the BDAG? I probably wouldn't because the price would be so prohibitive that I wouldn't be able to justify the expense (sort of like me wanting to buy the Samsung Galaxy Fold, but just can't justify the expense). You should see the price they have put on it at theWord. It's even worse at Logos. And at a guess, I reckon that this is the most probable reason why Uncle Ricky is unwilling to make this resource available for e-Sword.

So, on that note, here endeth my rant.

Blessings,

The problem is people want everything for nothing, but won't do anything for nothing.

Since someone mentioned some reviews, I thought I'd provide a link to mine.

As the module is available for the Word bible software, it could likely be converted for e-Sword use by using Simple Bible Reader

It would not be a good idea as it is copyright material.

Hi Jon,

As to what you said, I agree with you.

That said, maybe you might know better than I do, If its the theWord's premium edition (you know, like it ain't a freebie), wouldn't it be secured - as in it being locked, and so making it unable to be converted to another Bible program format? And if that's the case, then it would have to be a waste of time trying to convert it.

Blessings,
