Dowloaded Geneva Bible

Hi All, and God Bless:

I downloaded and installed the Geneva Bible to E-sword:  it worked wonderfully.  Later on I downloaded the Geneva Bible with Apocrypha.  It had what looked like a 'text' icon.  Although it had the bblx extension, it won't open to be installed.  It can't find a app to open it.

Is it not possible to have both at the same time?  I'm not sure what I did wrong.

Could someone help?

If two modules have the same tab name in the e-Sword map then shows e-Sword only the first in alphabetic order (numbers first then A). You can also deselect a Bible tab.

For using both you need to change the tab name by using DB Browser for SQLite OR use  "e-Sword Library Manager 1.5" (the easy way).

Browse Data tab and choice denials instead of the bible Table

Change Geneva into Genev

close and save

There is an official Geneva Bible you can download via e-Sword downloads menu. It has Apocrypha.

I just didn't scroll down far enough to find the Geneva, and Bishops' Bibles.  Face palms and mutters "Duh" under my breath.  Thank you JPG.

Katoog, I meant when it downloaded.  I've noticed that when I downloaded the lighthouse bible, inside the zip file was the same kind of file with a text icon.  I've seen it a few times now.  Do I put those somewhere for E-sword to find?  Do I put them directly into the Virtual Store; all the ones in there have the same icon.

Great that you got it sorted, and praise God that it's all good.

Just let me say this, nothing is easy. It can be simple vs complicated, or difficult vs easy. There actually is a world of difference between them. To see where difficulties actually lie, below is a video I made in response to Katoog's reply, and show that in the event you have duplicate files, of how you can resolve them by using third party e-Sword related tools.

That does seem to work.  The Lighthouse Bible went in and is showing  in the tabs.  I even found my old .bblx of the cotton patch version and it  went in and shows.  The Berean Study Bible went in too.

Hey AP, I watched your video, thank you.  I did find out a way to change the name of the tab.  If you double click inside the cell of the library manager, it will highlight the cell and you can change the text.
