Since the death of the author of ToolTip Tool NT, there has been no news as to the future developement of this program in one form or another. In its current state, T4 (as its affectionately known) will eventually not be able to be used as a tool for the creation and/or editing of e-sword resources due to incompatibility issues of new controls that will be used ln later versions of e-sword.

Blessings,

I found the 2019 version, you have to go to the 2020 download page, then click download, then click accept, then it takes you to where the choices are. You can download 2019 from there. it opens for me too when installed.

Im not certain of the date Brent went to be with the Lord, I think it was some time last year. That said, he died of some form of cancer.

Josh Bond can give more details on this than I can.

Blessings,

Stephen (Php 1:21)

this error was resolved after installing this VC++ redistributable package.

https://www.microsof...ails.aspx?id=29

install this and run Regsvr32 C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword ToolTip Tool NT\TX28\tx4ole28.ocx command to register the text control.
