Using e-Sword 12.0.1, Windows 8.1

Entries in Editors window, Study Notes tab all disappeared.

Error message '”Unexpected Text Control error (1-e00)”',

Repeated a second time after restart of e-Sword. Can't keep entering notes just to have them disappear.

Is there a fix?

TY for any help, Don

Hi Don,

Suggest you contact Rick Meyers and let him know about it, and see what he has to say.

Blessings,

Stephen (Php 1:21).

I was having the same issue. Launching e-Sword with Crossover 19, the Study and Topic notes loaded fine, but everything else was blank. Trying to change a bible version or commentary triggered another "unexpected text control error 20058".

However, after upgrading to Crossover 20 everything is back to normal.

Hi Bill,

This is perhaps the best kind of posts I like seeing. You had a problem and figured the way to fix it, then went the extra mile by sharing what you did.

Believe it or not, but the proverbial ripple affects of what you have both done and shared will be and is quite far reaching. And that is no exaggeration, simply because many now know what the fix is, and that kind of information just gets spread far and wide.

So, I really appreciate what you have shared.

Blessings,

Stephen (Php 1:21).
