I have created a verse list that has "A LOT" of verses in it. Instead of using the GUI in e-sword that requires me to type out manually all the verses I want to add; I would like to open up a file (<filename>.lstx) and edit it (like in notepad). Is this possible? Is there an editor for an LSTX file?

Thanks

The lstx file is a database file, and therefore requires a database application such as SQLite DB browser, which you can download it from here. As to how successful you will be at adding new scriptures using, a database program, in it is anybody's guess. Let me know how it works out for you.

Just a pure list of verses or do you have some writings between texts? If latter, personally, I would make a topics (topx) file out of it and hyperlink the verses you have...that way, you don't have to copy/paste or other methods to get the verses by the list.(with tooltip) If it is a simple list, I have read the hotkey program here is helpful. At any rate, we would likely need more info to be of any help. Anticipating a response, if you felt free to upload the file here, perhaps someone could do the work for you...if it isn't overly involved...or if not, perhaps give a few cues to help you get the file over into tooltip.
