This would be a great addition to the Dictionaries already available

I have looked at doing this Dictionary in the past and there is one major hurdle to overcome

eSword does not search Greek like it does English and liddell-scott is set up by Greek word there is no strongs numbering system in Liddell-Scott

If I'm wrong and eSword is capable of this let me know and I will start Liddell-Scott-Jones Lexicon of Classical Greek right after I finish my current project

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

I have this in e-Sword format but can't distribute it because e-Sword doesn't display the Greek characters properly in the Dictionary "topic" view--the list of topics that appears inside the Dictionary window with topics to view. The dictionary topic entry is repeated inside the dictionary window at the top. The greek displays properly elsewhere, though. I believe it's a limitation of where e-Sword can display greek characters.

Since e-Sword doesn't support any type of internal hyperlinking, some of the functionality of this dictionary is lost and that also affects the presentation of the text.

Finally, e-Sword slows down, with a delay during start and a delay when you switch to the Liddell tab in the Dictionary window when this dictionary is installed. I think this is the result of a 97 meg file with lots of greek characters. I'll send you the file if you like and you can experiment with it.

I'm trying to find a book keyed to strong's and containing the variants to each Strong's entry

finding such a book could result in converting Liddell Scott to strongs numbering
