Making a module works great...

but no matter what the very last verse won't show up in eSword though it is there in the RTF before making a module out of it. Whether it's a test module or a full complete bible.

I'm sure it's something simple and stupid on my part. :D

eSword ToolTip Tool NT v2020.04.11

I use Old RTF, and save out to Chapter:verse in bblx under module (3)

e-Sword is 12.1.0 PC

Any ideas, or anyone already deal with this?

Thanks. :)

Something simple like you forgot to put a return after the last verse.

If you can save out the data as .rtf and post it here or better still send me a private link to the file once you have saved it out, I will be able to assist you.

Thank you. I can do that. I'll send it to you private message.

The module seems to be working great in my e-Sword version 12.1.0 except for not showing the last verse of Revelation 22:21.

It's like there is some hidden end of file marker in the wrong place or something.

I have one more thing to try and then if this doesn't work I'll send you the RTF file, would you like to see the exported .bblx file too?

OK thanks for the files.

It was a strange one for sure. It is only a problem with the .bblx files. I have reported the issue but not sure it will get fixed.

The workaround for .bblx is to put a space at the start of the line after the final verse.

Revelation 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come Lord Jesus!
Revelation 22:21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.
[put a space here]

I dont make a lot of bblx or bbli modules, but I do try to put a couple spaces or carriage returns after every Verse note in a cmtx or cmti module.

Thanks for that tip DJ, on commentaries.

Does anyone have a test bible RTF file with examples of Verse and Strongs Tooltipping?

I've read that Tooltip manual, but I'm still at a bit of a loss to getting my mind wrapped around that and understanding how that's done.
