Dear friends,

For any who use Word for writing notes for speaking, I have developed a macro which works on a PC. This macro will insert Scriptures into your Word document in a very user-friendly manner and give you the best results you could imagine. It gives seamless access to all the e-Sword macros without leaving your document.

If you would like to see how it works I have a PowerPoint but for some reason my post is on the forum Copyrights & Licensing. You could also simply search above on "Insert Scriptures" to find it.

I would love any responses to what you think!

It looks like a good macro to have - I think it would prove very valuable to those using Word and inserting Scriptures

I have ee using the macros from the https://e-sword.net/extras.html

  for deccades.

Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, (Jeremiah 9:23-24a)

"Defenders of the faith are inclined to be bitter until they learn to walk in the light of the Lord. When you have learned to walk in the light of the Lord, bitterness and contention are impossible." --Oswald Chambers, in Biblical Psychology from The Quotable Oswald Chambers.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I too was similar to you for many years and there were several things that used to bother me which my macro has fixed up. My macro also uses these macros you are using making them much easier to use and greatly improving the output from them and correcting all the grammar and any formatting coming from e-Sword that doesn't match your document (fonts and font sizes etc).  It also gives several options one being the option of Scriptures being surrounded by quotes or output in italics.

Thanks again for your response. If you have a look at my PowerPoint you might see the benefits I am speaking of.

Thanks again!

Hi garyworth,

Are you going to make this macro available for use by others?

Blessings

Robert

I am wanting to see if there is any response because to go the next step will take some effort.

I don't even have Word on my PC. I use LibreOffice's Writer. I'll be watching and hoping you make available for that powerful program also.
