Does anybody have John Lange's commentary in an XML file format, or is there a way to get it please?

Thank you so much.

You can convert the e-Sword version of that commentary to XML using a program called SImple Bible Reader:

Thanks Tj,

I already tried that.  The file never gets rendered successfully, and the same goes with other big commentaries like "PHC".  They appear to be too big for Simple Bible Reader.  But please, if you are able to do it, let me know.

Anyone else able to get Lange, or these other "biggies" into XML?

Thank you.

You might be able to convert the commentary by first opening it using ToolTip NT and once the module is open in Tooltip, saving an RTF version of the file. Once you have created an RTF version of the file you can then open the RTF version in Word or a similar program and save the RTF as an XML file.

Another option is to create the rtf file and then convert it using a RTF to XML converter.

Just a tad curious here... I'm interested in as to why you want this in an XML file. Reason being is that this is really an unusual request, and its boggled my mind.

Blessings,

The person who request XML file might be using a bible program called Zefania Bible which uses XML as it's module format.

Sorry for the late reply.  Yes, I use another program with a different format.

I tried "reading" the module with Tooltip Tool NT, and it is either locked, or it is too large, because it will not open it.  Otherwise, I would have already done what you suggested.  Thanks for the idea though.

The Lange Commentary is a very large module it will take some time for Tooltip to open it. The module is not a premium or locked module as it can be downloaded from this site.
