Installed e-Sword X yesterday, on a Mac Book; first for me, wen't pretty well with the help of those who were fluent with that machine, otherwise would be a horrible task for a MS user.  Now to the question, above that which is in the program download built in:  How may one construct proper syntax to separate those resources in the downloads area?

I did find the category 8x on  the drop down in advanced search, but didn't know how to use that so it returned nothing:  normally I'd think *.* but that was a dud too.  It seems to require something more than choosing 8x...

A second part to the question, if you will:  does the module installer run on those machines, or if not, how does one go about installing downloaded modules on Macs?

Thank you

I leave this as a possible help for others, though I should have thought of it first and tried it - in order to show Only those resources avaiailable for e-Sword 8X:

  1. Click on the greyed out area in the searchbar at top right and choose downloads
  2. Next click on the starred-wheel at the right of the seach bar at top right, - the Advanced Search screen will open <you'll see the tooltip>
  3. At the top of the Advanced Search Screen- click in the find words field and choose e-Sword 8X from the drop down suggestions
  4. Next scroll to near the bottom of the screen in the Category Seclection window-scroll down to the choices under e-Sword 8X and choose
  • Bibles
  • Commentaries
  • Dictionaries
  • etc.

Very easy after 1st try..!
