Hi there,

When I go to the Module Downloader and download, say, a Bible, the status window at the bottom looks like it shows a successful download, and the status switches to uninstalled.  When I restart e-Sword, however, the Bible isn't there to view.  And the status has switched back to download.

I've tried changing the resources and user file locations without any luck.  I currently have them both set to c:\program files (x86)\e-sword\

When I look in that folder, I can see the .bblx file.  It appears grayed out.

I'm running e-Sword 12.1.0 in Windows 10.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Go to the web site above, at the bottom you will find a PC to Apple module converter. Install it and then use it to convert the bibles to Apple {bbli} these should show up for you.

Question?  What bibles were you trying to install.

Thanks for the advice.  I am running Windows.  But you think I should convert the files to Apple?

To answer your question, I'm having trouble with all of the Bibles and commentaries.  I've mostly stuck to trying to get Young's Literal to work (for no particular reason).

I tried to PC to Apple Module Converter and got the error "Unable to open locked module."

The icons of the .bblx files I can't open look lighter in Explorer than the files that do open.

E-Sword ver 12 is coded to work better with the BBLI files.  My bad should have said PC 2 Apple will not work with locked files.  I tried to dwnload Youngs and had no problem.

Have you tried just moving the file to another location outside e-sword restart windows then move the file back and restart windows again then try it in e-sword. It my be that it did not register. Worth a try. Windows is a rather strange beast by times.
