I have spent several hours searching for any information on how to sync my version of e-sword HD on my iPad with my version of e-sword LT on my iPhone.

If you have any information what so ever in performing this please, please comment to this thread. Even saying it is not possible would be very helpful!!

What I've been able to do is save my Highlights, my Tagged Verses, & my Study Notes to my iCloud account, from both my iPad and from my iPhone.

I've also been able to successful send my Highlights, my Tagged Verses, & my Study Notes from my iPhone to my iPad.

If anyone needs help in doing either of the 2 above I would be glad to share.

What I've not been able to do is sync any changes to Highlights, Tagged Verses, & Study Notes. I.e. if I create an additional highlight on my iPhone, I do not automatically see the new highlight on my iPad.

Please, please, please... does anyone have this working?

Sincerely,

Chris

Hi Chris,

This query has been asked and answered so many time, I've even  lost count.

To sync your files across devices is really simple. Simply put your files on the cloud, and then change the resource location in the settings (in e-Sword).

Don't ask me how to change the resource location in HD and LT due to the fact I don't use iPhones or iPads.

Blessings,

Thank you for the very quick response.

Yes, I agree I ran across several post and responses that say something very similar to what you suggest is the simple way to achieve a sync. Unfortunately the last little piece that you ask me not to ask you, is the missing piece that I have yet to find. And, without that piece it does not work. Therefore in my opinion it has not been "answered." At least not answered as a solution. Please forgive me if this comes across insulting. I absolutely do not wish to insult anybody on a forum such as this where I believe people are here just to help other like/similar minded people.

I'm doing my best to ask as clearly as I can, so that I and many others can accomplish even more with such an awesome resource for His glory! Therefore with your help I'm able to ask an even clearer question.

Does anybody know how to change the "resource location" in e-sword HD & e-sword LT?

I'm confident it can be done. It states on the website, "As your library grows you will appreciate the intuitive layout and synchronization of resources."

Sincerely,

Chris

Hi Chris,

The best person you can ask would have to be Rick Meyers as it appears no one here really knows despite the fact that there are people here who have iOS devices.

Click on the Rick Meyers ' link above, and you will be directed to the e-Sword Contact page.

Hope you get your answer.

No, I have followed the instructions to a tee, and my files just seem to be sitting there.

1 guy says it’s been  written about very often but “don’t ask him,he doesn’t use a iPhone or iPad. ?? Lol.
