Thank you for all the time your spent to explain Module Making.  I really appreciate it.  But, I'm frustrated trying to save a CMTX file.  I have done and published a TOPX file for Bible Support, so I am not a novice.  I even tried re-installing Tool Tips NT, but it still stalls at save. Here is a screen shot of what I get after trying every option I can find.  Thanks for any help you can give !

Hi

it looks as if you have no description after the mark

1mark : Gen 1:1

Text (your information)

1mark: Gen 1: 2

Text

2marks: Gen 1 (chapter)

Text

2marks: Gen 2

text

3marks: Gen (book)

Text

you have marks with nothing or no information

Thanks

I have tried every possible "description" after my "mark" signs and the "save commentary" still does not work.  I am following the PDF instructions for Tool Tip NT exactly as they are written.  I have tried a blank document with the steps and still get a refusal to save.  I notice there is an "old RTF" and then there must be a new type.  I have tried clicking that option on and off for fresh trials.  I have put my descriptions on first and then added the appropriate "mark" before it.  Should I have a space or sign other than the "mark"... it is not mentioned in the PDF instructions and I notice that "the patchworkid" response to my question is not consistant in this area.  I have also tried a new line with a "mark" and a description typed after the mark, making one big highlighted "mark", but that seems strange to me.  In any case, it doesn't help with my problem.  I have tried loading an existing CMTX file to see how they are done, but none of mine will load because of copyright protection !

If someone could type a sample that I could just copy and paste into Tool Tip NT, perhaps I could see where I am going wrong.

Thank you all !

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

I am sure I am guilty of bad formatting.  After running the Hebrew fix tool I am still getting errors in the numbered books.  1Sa; 2Sa; 1Jo; 1Jo etc. the first verse appears correctly at the right of the text and then Sa 1:21; Sa 1:31 etc.

don't know where I went off the path, but I know this will not work.

You need to format those books as 1Sa 1:1, 1Sa 1:2 etc. the same formatting needs to be used for all of the other books that are named using a number first such as 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles as well as the NT books that have number in their titles
