It'll be fun to have something like this for promotional material. And now I can say, "I can make ebook covers!"

I've been using my Lange's down time "wisely". Sort of. I like fiddling with things like this, that have little practical value but are fun. I designed a book cover and spine of how Lange's original printed edition may have looked (I've never seen an original printed edition, so I have no idea).
Then I made some 3D book renderings in various configurations. The watermark lines are in the images because I didn't actually pay for the software ($80), just using the trial version. You can adjust the lights, shadows, camera perspective, shoot a shot from any angle, etc. Click each picture for a larger version.

But...we've run into a technical issue involving the footnotes. The footnotes are linked, so you can click 5 and be taken to footnote #5 at the bottom of the screen. ToolTip NT is not outputting the proper RTF for hyperlinks/bookmarks. It's actually not Brent's fault, as it appears to be a bug in the text control used by ToolTip NT.
ToolTip NT uses a slightly newer version of the same text control that e-Sword uses. And in this newer version, there appears to be a bug for how hyperlinks to bookmarks are generated. So, I can't proceed until we resolve this issue, else the footnote identifiers will be garbled. Brent has filed a technical support request with the text control maker.
One this is resolved, we should be just a matter of days away (if that) from the finished module.

The downside is I must tooltip and generate a cmtx for each chapter of each book (can't combine the RTF files together first because the duplicate footnote ID's don't "get along" in ToolTip NT). The upside is I was able to do Genesis and Exodus in the last couple of hours.

Hi Josh,
This is perhaps why I'm crazy to think that working directly from the Database file is way better. The results are almost immediate in e-Sword. Just can't quite get that immediacy in e-Sword from T4 somehow.
Yep, I know its slow going working in that way, but the thing that makes it up for that is seeing the results straight away as all one needs to do is to "refresh" the resource in e-Sword by just going from one tab to another and then going back again.
I call it WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get)!
I just had to plonk that little thingy in. I couldn't resist it.
Blessings,

There's no reason to manually build a resource directly in a database from scratch, coding all the tags as you go--anymore than you should use a shovel to level land when you have a bulldozer.

It doesn't look promising to wait on the makers of the RTF control. I can correct ToolTip Nt's output with regular expression searches. If e-Sword needs the footnote RTF code one way and another Bible software another way, I can accommodate accordingly. If the makers of the RTF control change how footnote code is generated (as I suspect they will), I can fix it with a regular expression search/replace.
The downside is I must tooltip and generate a cmtx for each chapter of each book (can't combine the RTF files together first because the duplicate footnote ID's don't "get along" in ToolTip NT). The upside is I was able to do Genesis and Exodus in the last couple of hours. So we're moving forward on this and I expect to be done soon. My next comment on this project will likely be the upload itself.
