ok, so a few find/replace options do help (like making all the (1) or (a) and following have spaces between them and the one above them). But there is no quick and easy way other than scanning through it to find out where to place the formatting marks, because it doesn't have a uniform set-up.

But yes, who needs macros? I've got me! um... uh...ok...yeah.

It might be faster to spellcheck it than proofread it. That will alert you to any Greek and expose OCR errors. I did that with the Expositor's Bible to catch the Greek and as it turns out, it caught a lot of OCR errors that slipped through during the topic creation round. And it was faster than proofreading by far.

Its been my experience that Spellcheck does not catch OCR errors that are spelled correctly but just not the correct word
m OCRed becomes rn, y can change to v, h to n, and so on I even had project that OCR turned gavest to gayest

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

I shall be keeping the rtf files, so if--after I am done an uploaded it--anyone finds an error, let me know and I'll fix it.

sorry to find this late but did not college press upload the PDF. If you have them then you need not OCR just copy/paste Adobe. I have Daniel half done. I'm not clear where you are at with the set.

Thanks
above all else I tried

College Press uploaded MOST of the books in pdf. If you look, you will notice that Kings and Chronicles are missing, I believe Job and Esther are missing as well (this off the top of my head).

do you need me to finish Daniel??? what books have you accomplished. I might help with one or two books. I have other commentaries that I work on so I willing to assist on Daniel and maybe revelation (I knew strauss and maybe LCCU might want a clean print for his ditigal library.)

sorry cannot help with OCR books, I do not own those BTS works other than PDFs from CP.

If you are already going through some of them, I would be happy to combine efforts.
