Portuguese Abbreviations in e-Sword

Hi

I'm preparing an e-Sword resource in Portuguese, but I can't get the abbreviation for Job to work. E-Sword requires all abbreviations to have three letters, but Jó (even unabbreviated) has only two.

I have tried both Jó_1:1 and Jó__1:1 without success. When you tooltip a Job reference in the topics editor you get Jó _1:1, but that doesn't work either. I asked Rick, but he simply told me to use Job_1:1. Of course that works, but it's not Portuguese!

Please, is there some Portuguese-language member here who can point me to the right abbreviation?

There are a couple of other languages where the book name consists of two letters. My guess is that several more bug reports need to be filed, and then Rick will correct them all in one swoop.

You wrote the booknames in Portuguese, but I think you forgot the abbreviations. O:-)

Anyway, I took the abbreviations from e-Sword itself, but simply Jó doesn't work.

Hi Carlos,

Please click on the Screenshot of the language setting for Portuguese. Although the Bible you see is in English You will notice that the Abbreviated references are in Portuguese. So too you will find this in your tooltips

All that needs to be done is the language setting is changed from English to Portuguese in order for it to work.

Yes, changing the language to Portuguese to see the abbreviations is the first thing I tried. If you do this in Job, you'll see "Jo" plus what seems to be two spaces and then the numbers, like Jo 1:2. I have tried both with spaces, low bars and all kinds of combinations, but none works. E-Sword only supports three letter abbreviations.
