I couldn't get the subject file to execute even after being on the phone with MicroSoft for 30 minutes and re-downloading the file twice.

Has anyone else had this problem and can someone fix the file so it executes?

It executed for me. Your issue might be an antivirus setting.

Hey, JPG, "Peg"? I think it actually executed now but I can't find it in my E-Sword Commentary section.

Any suggestions?

First thing to know is that it was an esword 8 top file. So if you are using esword 11 it will need converting.

Go to your Editors window and select the Topic Notes tab.

Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and left mouse click in the Topic Notes window. This should open a menu with New, Open, Import, export, convert....

Select Open.

In the file dialog that opens change the dropdown at the bottom right, to show Old Top Note Files.

Now just select your file. It will convert it.

If you want it to show in your Reference Library, do the Ctrl left mouse as above, but select Convert to Reference Book.

It was a different file. Sorted now though.

Well, it clearly executed and is a .topx file so it should be current. Now my question is: Where do the .topx files appear? Don't find them in commentaries nor in reference books.
