Just wanted to ask the question on where I should post all the modules that I downloaded from this site and converted for use on e-Sword X. There is no category for e-Sword x in the download section and honestly, there are not many resources for Mac users anywhere. I would like to be able to put them all in one place so that it is easier for someone down the road to find, instead of having to dig to find them. Thanks for the help.

Simply upload your e-Sword X resources in the same categories for e-Sword for Windows go. But when you do, in the Resource Name textbox, make it known that its for e-Sword X, e.g., Ancient Hebrew Lexicon of the Bible for iOS devices and Mac, or something similar.

Note that all iOS resources will run on Mac computers and laptops.

Blessings,

Hi @APsit190, I haven't been able to find any modules for e-sword x easily. PLEASE make a category for e-sword X to easily search! On my previous e-sword PC version I had a LXX crossover dictionary (From greek to Hebrew) and now I can't find one for Mac, which is quite disappointing.

@Eric - are you able to inform me which modules you uploaded so I can check them out please?

I'm in no position to do this. The only person who can make a separate category for e-Sword X is Josh Bond.

That said, resources I've uploaded for e-Sword X are titled for that platform. But they were usually done as a result of a someone requesting a particular item.

how does one search for e-sword X modules or compatible content without trawling through all the other content?

Unless otherwise stated, all resources are by default for e-Sword PC. Therefore at the moment its a hit and miss situation when it comes to finding resources for e-Sword X.

From my perspective, it is relatively straight forward for Josh and whomever to make it really simple to create a category for e-Sword X resources. In fact, some time ago I made a suggestion of how one can visually determine whether a resource is for either e-Sword X/iOS, or PC/Windows, or for MySword. Problem is, nothing has been done about it, and so we just stick with the same old same old hit and miss scenario. Really bad! Below is an image suggesting the what can be done, which (I noticed) was nearly 7 years ago. Totally unreal.

Bible Support Listing.png

And whatever the platform the resource has been created for, all what one needs to do is click on the icon of that platform, and would take the user to the page where that resource is located, and then from there to download it.

Simple, straight forward, and dead easy. Not a worry. But Nah, nothing done about it.

By the way, this is about the one real letdown that I can think of regarding this site. Outside of that, everything is quite good, and Josh does a pretty good job. And this one thing, in all seriousness, needs to be fixed up.

Blessings,
