I have asked for support to move my stuffed e-Sword from old PC to a new PC? The technical support provided simply asked me to to download from within the e-Sword. However, this type of download could not move my stuffed one to a new PC. I also have an extral Ancient Hebrew Lexicon of the Bible added and I am looking at downloading the existing one in my old PC to the new. What can I do?

Perhaps one day soon I will create a utility program that will copy all modules from one PC to the cloud and then from the cloud to the new PC. This is a common request.

For now, you must copy the files yourself. Do you feel comfortable copying files from one folder to another and using a USB drive?

The general steps to copy e-Sword modules is:

1. Go to your old PC and insert a USB drive.

2. Use File Explorer to navigate to C:\Program Files\e-sword or C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword

3. Copy all files from this location to the USB drive

4. Remove the USB drive from the old PC and insert the USB drive into the new PC.

5. Copy the files from the USB drive to e-Sword's location on the new PC, either C:\Program Files\e-sword or C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword

The e-Sword notes are in a different location under Documents\e-Sword and if needed, should be copied to the same location on the new PC.
