This is something which came to me as I read  about issues and problems mainly about e-Swords's official (first party), both free and premium resources. And so with that, I want to share a couple of thoughts on these issues and problems some seem to encounter with them.

Whatever the problem one may encounter with official e-Sword resources, whether free or premium , the actual first line of endeavouring to fix it, lies within e-Sword User Guide. This should always one's first port of call  By the way, that also goes with third party resources, such as those downloaded from here.

If the e-Sword user Guide doesn't give the answer, then the next port of call for resolving the problem should be with Rick Meyers. The main fundamental reason is that he is the author of e-Sword, and whatever the problem one may encounter with an official resource, he should know the fix because he is the one who created the program, and would know it like the back of his hand.

For example,  issues or problems around the Search engine in e-Sword, and types of searches that one is endeavouring to make, if the answer isn't in the User Guide, then one really should contact Rick Meyers.

OK, with all that said, the one thing no one can fix is the PEBKAC (Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair) issue. That means the person him/herself who may have actually caused the problem, or may be trying to do something that is outside the bounds of the program. If this is the case, and this actually should be taken into consideration; then it doesn't matter how good others may be in fixing or resolving an issue... No one can fix the PEBKAC.

Trust this has been of some help.

Blessings,
